Peninsula Catholic High School welcomes students of any race, ethnic origin, gender, and faith tradition. We invite prospective students to visit the school for a day to personally experience the Peninsula Catholic spirit. Contact the Director of Admissions (757 596-7247, ext. 11) who will arrange a shadow experience for you. International students should have sufficient English proficiency to be able to master the curriculum at a high school level. Students whose English language skills are weak may be required to audit classes for their first term (semester) while concentrating on English proficiency. Admissions Procedures 1. All interested students are required to submit a complete application. Applications may be requested from the Admission Office or click here). Completed applications will include: · Application forms (pages 1-3) · 2 Recommendations – one from a Math, Science, or English teacher and one from the school principal or guidance counselor · Copy of current school records including test scores and academic records · Copy of the most recent report card · Completed testing requirements (if required) · Non-refundable application fee · Signed records release form 2. The completed application will be reviewed and the applicant will be notified by mail of the decision. Notification of acceptance will request the following to finalize the registration process:
Financial Aid Families in need of financial assistance must apply for tuition grants through FACTS (www.factstuitionaid.com) in order to be considered by the Financial Aid Committee. A completed application for admission must be on file before a financial aid award can be made.
