PC's theater instructor, Beth Wigley, is known around these parts for her prowess as director and producer. Every summer, though, she fades back into "summer vacation mode" to her students, while remaining true to her passion for the stage.
For the second summer in a row, Mrs. Wigley has taken a role with Williamsburg's Panglossian Productions. This summer's show is "Necessary Targets" by Eve Ensler.
Mrs. Wigley says, "I'm playing JS , an American psychiatrist who travels to Bosnia to counsel women war refugees.
Panglossian is a great community theatre dedicated to presenting new and lesser known works. 'Necessary Targets' is what I term 'social commentary theatre' with very relevant, timeless themes."
"Necessary Targets" is playing at the Williamsburg Regional Library from August 17-25. If you want to see Mrs. Wigley on stage, you can get tickets here.
